Semonti DeySemonti Dey is an international student from India pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education at The Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests include international and comparative education, immigrants’ higher education, higher education in the developing countries, sexual harassment in higher education, & the relationship between higher education and social stratification. She currently works as the Managing Editor of the American Journal of Education where she supervises the graduate student board consisting of 30 doctoral students. Prior to coming to Penn State, Semontireceived a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from University at Buffalo. A C-BERT research associate, she spends her downtime absorbing fictions by Bengali writers.

Hannah ParkHannah Park is a doctoral student in the Higher Education Program at George Mason University. She currently works as the Graduate Professional Assistant in the Office of the Provost & Executive Vice President in collaboration with George Mason University Korea. Previously, she worked as a full-time higher education administrator managing international student services, housing, and operations at Mason Korea. Her research interests are internationalization in higher education and international education policy. Hannah completed her BA in International Business from the University of Edinburgh and received her MPP from KDI School of Public Policy and Management.

Quintessence TownsendQuintessence Townsend (she/they) is a current graduate student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey pursuing a joint MA in International Education Management and Public Administration and specializing in Intercultural Competence. Their interest range broadly includes international student and scholar services and experiences, increasing access to education abroad, social issues, justice, and change in international education, and internationalization at home. Currently, they work as a research assistant investigating LGBTQ+ international student experiences and trajectories. Their international study and work experience covers Kazakhstan, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. They received their B.A. in Languages and Literatures and minor in Political Science from University of California, Riverside in 2021.
