The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA), a membership organization formed in November 1982, is the only association dedicated exclusively to senior leaders in the field of international education. AIEA members serve as leaders of higher education institutions and of organizations that support international higher education. AIEA equips leaders to shape the future of higher education in a global context.

The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) has pledged to uphold the annual tradition of celebrating International Education Week (IEW) 2025 from November 17-21 with fellow national international education organizations The Forum on Education Abroad and NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
