​Membership Fees and Funding Options
*Current Multi-Year Members: If you have an active multi-year membership that ends in 2025 or a future date, you do not need to submit a renewal form. Your multi-year membership will remain valid through the end of the term it was purchased for.
The AIEA Leader+1 Membership Campaign aims to identify and encourage the next generation of leaders in international education to join AIEA and to engage in defining the future of higher education. This campaign will contribute to diversifying and expanding our Association.
Current AIEA members, please nominate prospective AIEA members who you believe are on the path to be the next generation of international education leaders. Nominees must be first time members and cannot have held an AIEA membership in the past, regardless of institution or position change. Nominees can fill out the partial funding form and will be able to join AIEA at a 50% discount for their first year of membership. AIEA Membership Cycle:
The membership cycle runs from July 1 through June 30
It is not possible to pro-rate membership fees.
Membership Processing Please allow 10 business days for AIEA to process your application after your payment has been received.
Transfer Policy
Individually funded membership: transferrable to any institution or organization throughout the member term. Please send your updated details to info@aieaworld.org. Institutionally funded membership: transferrable to another staff at the institution/organization throughout the member term. *Note: Only one transfer is allowed during the member term for each institution/organization. This person must be an employee on payroll at the institution/organization. The membership transfer would be valid through the end of the membership term unless notified otherwise. Please send a transfer request to info@aieaworld.org.
Refund Policy AIEA memberships cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Note: Members are responsible for covering in advance any additional fees associated with processing AIEA memberships such as bank/wire transfers charges, service fees, and fees associated with requested documentation an institution or organization may require for membership payment approval. *Florida members must join using non-public funds. Public funds may not be used in Florida to pay for membership.

SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP CONSIDERATIONS DURING AIEA CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Please note that in order to be eligible for member Conference Registration pricing, your membership application must be both received and processed by the deadline for that price category. In addition, you must maintain current membership through to the conference.
Please allow up to 10 business days for AIEA to process your membership application after your payment has been received.
Because of this, AIEA highly recommends paying via credit card during conference season to increase the chances of receiving registration discounts.
Payments via check or wire transfer may delay membership processing considerably, as AIEA can take up to 10 business days from receipt of payment to process memberships.
