Hannah Park
Lead Conference Intern Hannah Park is currently completing her PhD in Higher Education at George Mason University. Hannah’s doctoral research focuses on how artificial intelligence and technological advancements may shape the internationalization of higher education and impact internationalization practices. She expects to graduate in June 2025. In addition to her doctoral research, she has worked as a higher education administrator managing international student services, residence life, and operations at George Mason University’s branch campus in Songdo, South Korea for three years. Hannah formerly served as the Graduate Professional Assistant in the Office of the Provost & Executive Vice President in collaboration with George Mason University Korea. Hannah completed her BA in International Business from the University of Edinburgh and received her MPP from KDI School of Public Policy and Management. She was selected as a 2023-2024 Presidential Intern for the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) and continues as the Lead Conference Intern for the 2025 AIEA Annual Conference. |
Gabriella Rosado
Conference Intern Gabriella Rosado is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied at the Peabody School of Education majoring in Human Organizational Leadership Development and minoring in Portuguese. As a Gilman Scholar, she studied abroad in Portugal during the spring of 2024 where her interest in international education sparked. She has served in diverse professional roles in external relations, data analysis, and community development. She is very curious about the world and loves talking to new people, mentoring students, and going on trips with her friends. Faryal Atif
Conference Intern Faryal Atif is a doctoral student in the Educational Leadership - Higher Education Administration program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She currently works full-time in the Office of Residential Life within Student Affairs division. With a rich and diverse background in education, Faryal has gained valuable professional experience in both Pakistan and Malaysia. In her current role, she designs and implements programs that promote community engagement and foster involvement among a diverse student body with a strong emphasis on student development, safety, belonging, and campus engagement. Her doctoral research interests include internationalization policies, student belonging, university support systems, and international student success. Faryal holds a Master of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in History from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Pakistan. |
