AIEA Conference: Delegations from Outside the United States

The AIEA Annual Conference is the premier meeting for leaders in international higher education from around the world.

AIEA welcomes delegations from specific countries or regions outside of the U.S. to participate in the Annual Conference. Delegations are often organized by:

  • Government entities such as Ministries of Education or Trade Commissions who understand the value and power of facilitating strategic international partnerships with higher education institutions
  • National international education organizations or associations

AIEA is pleased to extend a registration discount for delegations of five or more conference registrants from nations outside the United States. Approved delegations with multiple institutions organized will benefit from the following:

  • Delegation members will be eligible for member conference rates, which provide a significant discount for attendees
  • Delegations will be recognized at the Networking and Awards Luncheon
  • Delegations who submit an application and register for the conference by December 1 will be featured in the AIEA Annual Conference program

Delegations must apply to receive these benefits. Eligibility requirements include:

  • Delegation members (other than the organizer) must be first-time AIEA participants and have not previously attended an AIEA Annual Conference
  • Delegation members should be international education leaders -- Senior International Officers or their equivalents, leaders of international education associations, or government officials who facilitate international education as a part of their position
  • Each delegation must have five or more paid conference registrants; registrants must represent multiple institutions
