University of North Carolina
Chapel Hill, NC As international education administrators, we understand the importance of international research in solving the world’s biggest challenges. Looking at the mission or value statements of international offices at universities across the U.S., we see a shared commitment to providing global education experiences to students through applied research and to supporting faculty research - often with global partners - to solve global challenges. This interactive forum will bring together senior international officers (SIOs) and staff in their offices, research administrators, other internationalization leaders and/or faculty who are committed to supporting international research to discuss both opportunities and challenges. The program will include multiple opportunities for exchanging ideas so, by the end of the day, participants will have enjoyed both learning opportunities and meaningful discussion.
