Jeff Cohen is Executive Director of the Office of Global Affairs (OGA) at the University of Washington Tacoma. OGA includes offices of student fellowships, study abroad, and international student and scholar services. He also supports the development of international partnerships and broader internationalization efforts. Cohen holds a doctorate in Criminology and is faculty in the School of Social Work and Criminal Justice. His most recent publication is a co-authored book entitled Criminology Explains School Bullying.

David DeVallance is Vice Rector for Internationalization at the University of Primorska (UP) in Koper, Slovenia. He is responsible for leading UP’s internationalization research and education efforts. DeVallance is also the Renewable Materials Composites Group Leader at InnoRenew Centre of Excellence. He earned his PhD and MS degrees at Oregon State University, and a BS degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to moving to Slovenia, DeVallance was an Associate Professor at West Virginia University.

Annie Phillips is Executive Director for International Affairs at Texas Woman’s University. She oversees international activities including ISSS, Education Abroad, and international partnerships. Phillips is a member of AIEA’s 2018 Leadership Academy cohort and presents frequently on gender and communication. She previously taught in the area of Communication Studies and served as a student affairs administrator. Phillips holds a MA in Communication Studies and a PhD in Higher Education from the University of North Texas.
