Woody Pelton professional photo

Woody Pelton has been the Dean of Global Education at Elon University since 2009. Previously, Woody was Senior International Officer at Winthrop University (2006-09) and Saginaw Valley State University (1992-2006). Before entering Higher Education, Woody was an attorney in Washington, D.C., an education advisor for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in a refugee camp in Malaysia, and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco. A NAFSA member since 1992, Woody also and serves on CIEE’s Academic Consortium Board.

Joanna Regulska is Vice Provost and Associate Chancellor, Global Affairs, and professor of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies, University of California, Davis. With over thirty years of international experience in higher education, she has led diverse educational and research projects, and partnerships. In 2010-11, she was selected as AIEA Presidential Fellow, and in 2013, she was awarded the Fulbright US-Korea International Education Administrator Award. In 2011, she was awarded Doctor Honoris Causa from the Tbilisi State University, Georgia.

Amir Reza is Vice Provost for International & Multicultural Education at Babson College. He has served on regional leadership boards for NAFSA and is on the AIEA Board.  He has presented at numerous national and international conferences on international education. His research focus is on internationalization, and intercultural development. He holds a B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of Maine, and a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Boston College’s Center for International Higher Education.  
Pia Wood Photo Pia Wood is the Vice Provost and Dean of International Affairs at the University of North Texas. Her responsibilities include Study Abroad, International Student and Scholar Programs, Sponsored Students, International Partnerships, Intensive English Language Program, and International Recruitment. She is a past president of AIEA and AIRC and regularly conducts workshops on International Recruitment and Enrollment Management. Her Ph.D. is in Political Science from the University of Geneva in Switzerland.
