AIEA Executive Director Darla Deardorff authored a book that has just been published by University of Michigan Press entitled Beneath the Tip of the Iceberg: Improving English and Understanding of US Cultural Patterns, an English-as-a-Second Language textbook available through amazon.com.

AIEA member Jennie Lang spoke at the November 28 book launch of Making a Difference: Australian International Education edited by Dorothy Davis and Bruce Mackintosh (University of New South Wales, 2011) at Australia's Parliament House in Canberra.
