Past Executive Committee member Susan Buck Sutton wrote an article entitled "Transforming Internationalization Through Partnerships" which is published in the Jan-Feb 2010 issue of International Educator magazine.

AIEA members Gil Latz, Jeff Riedinger, Meredith McQuaid, Susan Sutton, Jim Cross, and AIEA Past President John Hudzik were quoted in an article entitled "The Rise of Senior International Officers" in the Jan-Feb 2010 issue of International Educator magazine.

AIEA members Madeline Green, Paul McVeigh, Jr. and Brian Whalen were quoted in an article entitled, "Global Community" in the Jan-Feb 2010 issue of International Educator magazine. International Educator is a publication of NAFSA.

AIEA Executive Committee member Everett Egginton gave a keynote address at the joint AMPEI-NAFSA conference in Merida, Mexico. AIEA Executive Director Darla Deardorff was also an invited speaker there.

AIEA members Elmer Poe, Rosina Chia and Paul McVeigh are speakers at ACE Regional Internationalization Collaborative Meeting in Tempe, Arizona. The theme is "Internationalizing the Curriculum."

Congratulations to AIEA members Meredith McQuaid, Jeffrey Riedinger, Sheila Schulte, and Joseph Hoff for being elected as national leaders in NAFSA for 2010. AIEA members John Hudzik, Jim Cooney, Robert Gosende, Fanta Aw, and Francisco Marmolejo continue to serve on NAFSA's Board of Directors, comprising nearly a third of the board.

AIEA member Josef Mestenhauser has been invited to give the keynote address at a forthcoming conference on internationalization of research universities , to be held under the sponsorship of Sun Yat-Sen University, University of Peking, and Columbia University in November.
